The Beauvoir reference is completely misleading here.  The only legitimate criticism of Beauvoir is that, rather than hold the teacher for the police to pick up him, Beauvoir immediately kicked him off campus and called the police.  Supposedly, B waited maybe 30 minutes to call the police, though I am not sure how one would know that.  B obviously did not know anything about the teacher at issue. Maybe, B's background checks should have been stronger, but my understanding is that pedophiles are very good at getting around these roadblocks.  There was absolutely no cover up.  B kicked him off campus, called the police and notified the parents, all immediately.  Yes, we were there at the time.   I, of course, have no comment on the Sidwell gossip, as I do not know the facts.[/quote]

Toth was hired because influential parents pushed for it. THAT was the problem: inappropriate influence. Toth did not have a criminal record until after B called teh police an dthey did an investigation. B , or soem of its parents , might also have a lot to do with Toth getting on FBI top 10 most wanted list . THAT doesn't just happen....[/quote]
