22 45s comments aren't meant to attack or traumatize anyone. Its their personal experience of the whole process, whether it comes off as harsh and disrespectful. While others may view it as a lack of understanding on how EMT professionals work, it was their personal observation that they were sharing. Lets take the focus off how others decide to share their grief and lets be thankful that so many people felt the need to stop, be concerned and say a prayer for the man who lost his life. To think that 22 45 was still thinking about this man 6 hours after the incident says alot about them.
No, it really doesn't say a thing about 2245. It is a normal human reaction to think about and be bothered by witnessing an event like this. Sure, she feels the need to share her observation and process what she saw. I just disagree that this was the best forum in which to do so, as her words could cause additional pain to those most immediately impacted by the man's passing. His widow, his parents, his siblings, or his children may well find traumatic reading the graphic details (and perhaps mistaken conclusions about the quality of care) she included. A few posters have chimed in. While I didn't elaborate in my earlier post, I know too many surviving spouses who have experienced PTSD after reading witness statements and accident reports that they CHOSE to read. Stumbling upon a post like that could cause his family pain. You have the right to post whatever you wish, but you're not immune from criticism for it. It IS wonderful that so many stopped to assist this gentleman and are keeping him and his family in their prayers.
