It's for sheep... people are able to "discover how great people are" and better themselves w/o paying a groupthink leader to teach them how to do so. If you're going to pay someone to help out with this (and you should if you are motivated to make changes and be happy(ier)!) I suggest a yoga teacher or a therapist.
I experimented with al kinds of "therapy" when i was 16 years old, dealing with garden variety teenage concerns and problems, nothing extraordinary. One therapist immediately prescribed meds before they even knew me or asked me 3 questions, I dumped them promptly, the other was great and we talked for hours over the course of a year and there was very little or no growth or development - i just had a great friend/therapist to talk with each week, it cost my parents a small fortune. In The Landmark Forum, I changed my life in 3 days and for $one payment of 600 bucks, it was amazing. After those 3 days I suddenly started talking to girls where before I never did (very important to a young man) , I started talking with my parents and sharing with them the things that concerned me most, where before I thought they were just jerks who wanted to control me and I began to create a purpose for myself and my life and recognizing myself as someone who mattered and recognizing other people as people who mattered. I began to think for myself for the first time instead of walking around like a resentful passive aggressive teen zombie who had no say in life, and was a victim of every force in the world. There was no "group think" in the landmark forum or I would have got the hell out of there. People in my course did ask the Landmark Forum leader what they should do and say, and the Landmark Forum leader always said some version of "how should I know"? "I have no clue what you should do or say in YOUR life, I barely know what to do or say in my life". Anyone who was in an actual landmark forum would know that there is nothing to believe or buy into in the seminar. Yoga? Look up Lululemon and Landmark Education.
