I have a rising 5th grader, so does that mean they should not consider the hassle of goig to MS magnet school if they get selected for math magnet or humanities magnet because it is not worth it starting in fall 2027? [/quote]

No one can predict the future exactly, but I believe they have started previewing some of the magnet curriculum changes so if people here have seen that, that would be helpful to that PP (although good luck to them hoping someone in that narrow group of people notices their question buried here in this only slightly related thread.)
