Can you all link to articles, please? I want to indulge in some wishful thinking as well... :-) I can see why Putin is scared for his life, and worried about a coup, more than ever before. His war of choice is really hitting home this year, and he has no extra reserves to expend in Ukraine other than poorly equipped and unmotivated manpower. Ukraine is resisting handsomely because of their rapidly evolving drone tech that no one saw coming. A year ago, we were hashing out options for a Ukraine surrender.
If not for the fact that I know Americans are really this propagandized, I would think this was a poorly written troll. Ukraine has been destroyed for a generation, maybe two. There is no resistance beyond that needed to enable Zelenskyy to keep robbing the country blind.
Uh, for those living in reality, this invasion has been a disaster for Russia. What is it now for the three day Special Military Operation? Four years? Five years? More than a million Russian casualties in the meantime. Even the most conservative estimates have 350,000 Russian men dead and gone, not to mention all the other casualties that lost limbs in the era of drone warfare. Russians didn't seem to realize Ukrainians will fight. They do and will. And Ukraine is all in with technology. From front line drones to hitting Moscow, as they did the other day. With Zelensky promising much more in June. In the meantime, Ukraine has been obliterating both Air Defense in Russia and their oil and gas infrastructure. Russia is in serious trouble. And I really don't understand why Republicans are so enthusiastic for Vladimir Putin.
