I drive/cross over the beltway via Bradley most Friday afternoons/early evenings, driving out to Potomac from Bethesda. The outer loop below is bumper to bumper jammed every Friday, and still that way an hour+ later on my return drive via Bradley. This is a regular, non-holiday standard. Winding your way down and accessing via River might help, but given what I've seen Waze and other nav systems send people all through the neighborhoods, down Wilson, etc. to avoid Friday, and sometimes Saturday outer loop travel into NVa.[/quote]
