My family went on an entire Caribbean cruise without our luggage.  About 100 passengers never got their luggage which Air Jamaica was supposed to transport from Miami to Jamaica (departure and arrival port).

There were honeymooners on our cruise.

There was only one model of ladies' swimsuit for sale.  A bikini that only Heather Locklear could love.  My sub-size 0 sister bought one of the 4 in stock.  I went snorkeling in Aruba in a bra, T-shirt, and men's trunks.

Our luggage toured the Caribbean, collecting "Narcotics Free" customs stickers but never reaching the ship.  We got it back in Miami.

The cruise line went bankrupt a few years later.

I enjoyed the ports but spent a lot of time wearing the pair of thin corduroy pants I wore to  keep the plane's AC chill off my legs.[/quote]
