In 6th grade, they learn 7th grade math. Some are then ready for Algebra 1 in 7th, some are not. [/quote] This. It’s not just algebra, but an high school honors class. And then FCPS honors geometry is brutal. At least it is at our HS. I wouldn’t want my 7th grader having to deal with that. I’m not even sure about 8th. [/quote]
