He might need inpatient care, and/or medication, and/or a different home situation. Maybe none of that would help. None of us know. But I think it’s clear that he didn’t do this for personal gain (like robbing a jewelry store) or for any rational reason (like getting out of a test). He did it because he’s messed up. I live nearby and had told my kids not to go to the park adjacent to the school, even when I thought it was an adult, because I assumed it was a mentally ill person stalking the school. [/quote]
