I like hosting and am always stressed about choosing the beer. (My husband and I have different preferences). Good friends coming over for dinner and patio hang out I would be happy with a selection of any of the following, -Dogfish Ale - Slightly Mighty (low cal) -Lagunitas: IPA, Lil Sumpin -Devils Backhone - Vienna LAger -Bells Two Hearted -Bear Republic Racer 5 -Stone IPA -Non Alcoholic Athletic If you are fancy - Maine beer Company Lunch is the way I don't think there is one beer that would satisfy everyone. I would pick up 3 different 4 packs.
This person has a good list. In the summer you could sub Bells Oberon for the Two Hearted Ale. Athletic is a good call, and along similar lines Dad Strength is a low ABV option that is very popular right now. For more widely available options Red Stripe and Pacifico are good choices.
Ha. I was coming here to post this exact same thing, right down to the recommendation for Dad Strength. Good list, PP.
