My go to is Shiner Bock. Also like to have leinenkugel summer shandy on hand as an alternative. Of others listed, I like bells Oberon and Lagunitas Lil Sumpin.

-Dogfish Ale - Slightly Mighty (low cal)
-Lagunitas: IPA, Lil Sumpin
-Devils Backhone - Vienna LAger
-Bells Two Hearted
-Bear Republic Racer 5
-Stone IPA
-Non Alcoholic Athletic

If you are fancy - Maine beer Company Lunch is the way

I don't think there is one beer that would satisfy everyone. I would pick up 3 different 4 packs.

I like this list, other than the Devil's Backbone, which I can't stand. But, all of the bolded are IPAs. There isn't as much variety here as I would go for.

If you are picking the beer because of the aesthetic appeal of the bottles . . . I just don't know.

I want nothing to do with eating or drinking at your house, because your priorities are entirely out of whack.

Some people don’t drink Yuengling for political reasons

This person has a good list. In the summer you could sub Bells Oberon for the Two Hearted Ale. Athletic is a good call, and along similar lines Dad Strength is a low ABV option that is very popular right now. For more widely available options Red Stripe and Pacifico are good choices.

Ha. I was coming here to post this exact same thing, right down to the recommendation for Dad Strength. Good list, PP.

All the top selling domestic and “imported” beers in the U.S. are rice and corn syrup based junk.

Where was Stella considered white trash beer? Usually any Belgian is held in pretty high esteem.

That's how you end up with raspberry beer and stouts! Risky!

Oh yeah Red Stripe is pretty universally appealing and easy drinking too. Heineken is a little skunky and you have to be in the mood for it.

Blue Moon with the oranges and Corona with the lime. Done.

Eggenberg
Stella Artois
Modelo Especial
Pacifico over Corona
Quilmes
Heineken, Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams, Amstel all have strange side taste.
Modelo Especial is my go to. Used to be Pacifico with lime.

Back in the early 90s Foster's was quite a bit popular in US. I was over in Austria and I sit down with some Aussie's at the bar and I'm raving about Foster's to try to gain some favor with them and the one turns to me and says...Foster's is kangaroo piss...and then turns away. : )
