Gilmore Girls Young Sheldon Never Have I Ever Stranger Things Ginny & Georgia Anne with an E
I would not feel comfortable watching Ginny and Georgia with my teen. With the sex and cutting?
Cool. I was comfortable watching it with mine.
I’m with this poster. Watching this stuff with your kid allows you to have values discussions without them even realizing it. My daughter and I agree that Rory is a moron for dating Logan. And Belly is the least interesting girl ever since all she cares about seems to be her love interest. We can yell at the screen together. We can disagree about whether Conrad gets a pass for being emotionally stunted due to his mom’s death. I can joke about whether her friend is dating a Dean or a Jess (or Conrad or Jeremiah). I find it helpful to watch more adult content than I comfortable with just for this purpose.
Exactly. I posted the Breaking Bad and Dog the Bounty Hunter suggestion. I watched those with DS and we talked a lot about drugs and crime and what not to do. Some uncomfortable sex scenes popped up here and there but also good opportunities to talk about things. And really, I just like both of those shows.
