I’m with this poster. Watching this stuff with your kid allows you to have values discussions without them even realizing it. My daughter and I agree that Rory is a moron for dating Logan. And Belly is the least interesting girl ever since all she cares about seems to be her love interest. We can yell at the screen together. We can disagree about whether Conrad gets a pass for being emotionally stunted due to his mom’s death. I can joke about whether her friend is dating a Dean or a Jess (or Conrad or Jeremiah). I find it helpful to watch more adult content than I comfortable with just for this purpose.
