[/quote] Same for my DD. She had poured many hours into all those other applications and had a couple EA decisions that were due to come out a week or so after her ED acceptance. She's not necessarily the most scrupulous kid in the world and I was expecting that she'd lobby to stall a little to at least see those results, but the ED acceptance letter included a reminder to withdraw other apps and she chose to do so the same night. In fact, DH and I had to ask her to slow down so that we could at least read the acceptance letter and make sure it was all set first! I was happy that she chose to do the right thing and open her spot up for other kids, and I also think it was healthy for her to move on from trophy hunting and focus on getting excited about her new college.
