I will flag one item for you though: not the PL, which is probably still way in the distance and not immediately contiguous to NCC, but the redevelopment of Chevy Chase Lake is on the horizon. They are talking about remaking the intersection where the supermarket now sits into something that will resemble Friendship Heights: shopping malls, hotels, apartment buildings. This will have a huge impact on traffic and schools, but seemingly can't be stopped because the county is broke and the planning commission is in the pocket of developers. I wouldn't avoid NCC for that reason, but it's the kind of thing I would have wanted to know about before moving there. Good luck![/quote]

Do you have to use North Chevy Chase when addressing letters and bills, etc or can I just use Chevy Chase?  I know "I" live in North Chevy Chase but would rather not chat it up if you know what I mean.    [/quote]
