+1 (and maybe Jeff can attest that I am not one of the anti-Israel anti-Zionist posters - quite the opposite). Certainly this action raises certain costs for Iran but the idea that we brought the country completely to its knees in a day is just funny if not so sad.

Maybe this is the time to again tell the story about the early 2000s when I met one of the 20-something Bush appointees who was headed to Iraq to work for the state departmen, a Fed Soc type lawyer with zero experience. I asked him what he was going to do in Iraq and he said “advise them on developing the rule of law so they can transition to democracy.” I asked “oh really, how does one do that!” And he said “Well, I will teach them about Marbury v Madison.” Me “….” [/quote]
