Did the makers of that ad not understand the conditions under which most people see these ads? That felt so jarring and upsetting and it was confusing what was happening when the other kid approached and put the blue square on it. The message was also weird -- if my kid got a note like that in their locker, I'd want them to report it to the admin immediately, it would not be solved by another student covering it up and standing near my kid. I'm good with an ad addressing antisemitism, which does appear to be increasing, but that was such a weird way to go about it. Instead it made me feel weirdly violated in the middle of a party with my neighbors.[/quote]
