You're detached from reality if you think local police will interfere with federal law enforcement.  At best, they'll stand idly by at the direction of their political overlords, it's more likely they'll ignore calls for service based on someone complaining that federal immigration is being enforced by federal authorities. Clearly nuts.  Law enforcement officers enforce the laws within their remits, whether you like the laws or not.  Try to change the laws if you don't like them.  Asking local police to block the enforcement of federal laws by federal law enforcement merely reflect gross ignorance of the roles and authorities of different law enforcement agencies.   [/quote]
