This is going be a hard cleanup.  We should see people melting here in the next few days when they realize school will be lucky to open by the end of the week.  Get ready for the crazy people asking why it takes three days to clean up an ice storm 😁 it’s not going to melt people it’s freezing out.  This is not a normal cleanup.

All that sleet has transmogrified into a sheet of ice.  It will soften a bit with near-freezing temps in the next day or two, but will freeze back to an even more solid layer of ice each evening.  I'd be very surprised if we see a snow plow on our street today; tomorrow or even Wednesday is more realistic.  Even then, there's only so much it will be able to do.[/quote]
