Yes. Applied in late October, admitted and then honors letter in December, 20k merit (Swanson) earlier this month.

It’s not that weird. They give out a lot of merit early. Kids who apply with high stats in August/September get quick admissions and merit offers. Then the offers slow down through the later fall/winter. I’m guessing that a kid with a 1580 SAT will eventually get merit. But as others have said, the key to early, certain merit at Pitt is applying early.[/quote]
