I wear them under jeans or slacks when it's going to be cold in my office, for example, or under hiking pants when I'm going to be outside in the cold but really active. They're not enough insulation for skiing or cold-weather camping, or even casual walks / hanging out at the playground / etc in near-freezing weather. [/quote]
