A few pro-Israel and antisemitism-focused social media accounts posted that he was Jewish and "vocally pro-Israel." These are accounts that have a significant following among American Jews and a few people I personally know reposted the content in their IG stories.

These accounts tend to post slanted information and really try to push emotional buttons of Jewish social media users. [/quote]

As I tell my children, if something you read on line causes an immediate, strong, emotional reaction, take a step back, breathe, and be suspicious of the source. Don't react and especially don't repost until you dig deeper and find out the facts from multiple reputable sources.  Don't be an angry lamb.[/quote]
