It’s very bad form on a post about GETTING IN to UVA that a mom posts sour grapes about not getting in .. and of course “it wouldn’t have been a good fit” - OK, if true, then then why did you ever apply? Why dirty up a thread about those getting excited about getting in with such negativity?[/quote]

Ok, Tracy. I’m not dirtying up a thread. I’m preparing applicants for the likelihood of a rejection - as many more kids are rejected from UVA than accepted. They are great kids, too - and will find their place. Heaven forbid I voice an opinion that life can be great at schools other than UVa.
