[/quote] Maybe. There’s also the focus on limited breeds of a limited number of animals that, in the US, lend themselves to large scale production, that people will buy. Meaning, I think decisions were made to choose beef over bison for reasons that have little to do with Indigenous practices and everything to do with a society that supports businesses like McDonald’s.
