Please join us in this century.  People are overweight for a number of reasons, of which overeating is only one. If the issue was as simple as self-control, it wouldn't be a GLOBAL epidemic propped up by a billion dollar diet and weight loss industry.

We have medication that can address the issue of insulin resistance and overactive hunger signals that keep a lot of people from being able to lose weight in spite of their attempts to do so on their own. It honestly sounds like you're more concerned with punishing and judging people than actually solving the problem. [/quote]
