OP, I'm sorry but short cut pretty much automatically means mom hair, so keep the long hair, just get a trendier cut.  If you want GOOD makeup tips, skip Sephora and head to Blue Mercury or a department store makeup counter (just for god's sake don't go to Clinique).

Also, Lands End (someone previously suggested it) also automatically equals mom clothes, unless you're looking at their Canvas line which has some pretty cute stuff. Don't shop there.  Maybe Madewell, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, and shop on Asos.com for trendier clothes.[/quote]
