They are worth the extra cost. For the size 4s out there, wear leggings with longer shirts. I would go to h&m for the leggings and a couple flowy, boyfriend shirts. Throw a vest or drapey cardigan on it if you need more warmth. I got turned onto cashmere sweaters lately and will never go back. The downside is that I can only afford one a season, but there are so many out there that are not "momish". Good luck and post some photos of your finds if you need opinions...
I am a size 2-4, and this is never a good look for me because I have breasts (not huge - 32D) and usually look fat/bloated/pregnant or just like I never got out of my pajamas in the flowy shirt/leggings combination.

Oh, exciting! I'm happy for you. Keep us updated. This is fun.

Anonymous wrote:Thanks everyone! I intend to spend my bonus on some clothes, so I do have some money I can put toward this. I'm thinking a haircut will work wonders. I think I'd look better in a shorter cut, but I'm having trouble convincing my husband to let go of the long hairI'll work on that first. Make up is a great idea - I think I'll hit Sephora or something and get some tips.
As for clothes, I love the What I Wore blog - if I could look like her every day, I would feel great.
I like J Crew (even though a lot of it is flashy or cheapy these days - still some great looks). I spend a lot of time looking in Loft just because it's so cheap and sort of casual trendy, but their clothes are such terrible quality and I really need to get out of there. Any store suggestions would be great.
I'm also looking for a good mid-sized purse to carry around out to dinner or on the weekends. Something classic looking, but maybe with a bit of color.
