[/quote] We visited Middlebury and Swarthmore, totally different vibes. Middlebury is preppy, lots of NYC private kids. Swarthmore full of strivers, insufferable, very very intense. Surprisingly there are very few tech immigrant kids at Swarthmore. [/quote] 2nd gen ORM parent here. Swarthmore still doesn’t have the same brand/name recognition as the T-25’s in immigrant communities which is a shame because I’d rather have my kid at Swarthmore than at a lot of T-25’s.
