At the same time, is she getting cash from OP?[/quote] My car was damaged in an actual hit and run, and at least in VA with my policy, the deductible for a hit and run was lower. But that doesn't really make sense in this scenario when the other driver shouldn't have a deductible if OP's insurance is paying for repairs. OP--how did you find out they claimed it was a hit and run? [/quote]
