Are you asking if it’s earmarked for anything? It’s not. It goes to the U.S. treasury like the rest of your taxes. And I think that’s why Trump likes them so much. It’s basically sucker money that he pretends is not a tax. Trump made some half hearted remarks about lowering federal income tax because of the tariff revenue, but there is no bill or law that directs tariff revenue. It has been off setting some of the projected cost of the $4 trillion bill that he passed, though $165 billion is just a small dent. [/quote]
