his show sucked and I found him unfunny. Maybe no one was watching the show and they were looking for a reason to get rid of him.
No. Clearly it's a sign that Trump is crushing dissenting speech in all the ways. People who are on visas and green cards have been warned that they cannot comment negatively about certain topics - supposedly to root out anti-Semitism, but really and actually, they cannot criticize anything the government does or says. Trump has shown a pattern of directly attacking journalists who ask him questions, more recently an Australian journalist. Trump has sued two newspapers recently for publishing topics he didn't like, the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times. His army of MAGAs have caused hundreds of people to be fired from their jobs because they said mean things about Charlie Kirk. Late night comics such as Colbert are being cancelled, supposedly for commercial reasons, but really because they have long gone after Trump and network owners don't want to take that risk anymore. Kimmel didn't even say anything critical of Kirk, and he got cancelled immediately after an entirely innocuous comment about MAGA always looking to pin the blame on the far-left. Maybe ABC will trot out a nonsensical "commercial" reason like CBS did with Colbert. This is a becoming a real dictatorship, in fact.
