We are at this point also. But I feel like our whole marriage has been looking for things we both like. We are very different and it surprises me that we even got together and stayed for so long.

We’re just starting with pickleball and am hoping it sticks. We’ve tried pool and golf - I hate both, spouse loves. We do like cycling, boating, travel, theater. We both work out but separately. We watch some shows together when the weather is bad.   We like to play cards with our kids and have long dinners hanging out when they are around - but none of us are great cooks.

We also have separate hobbies. I like crafts and am an artist. I also sew. We tried house projects together and that was a disaster. We both read and like the same books.

In the end, I’d say we spend most of our weekends and all of our joint time off work (spouse is in healthcare so doesn’t get all the same holidays) doing things together. We rarely go out without the other except we both take family trips without the other sometimes. We had to work hard on finding joint interests. [/quote]
