Methylfolate is the active form of leucovorin. It isn't harmful to try but it hasn't had any effects for my kid that I can tell. [/quote] Methylfolate isnt folinic acid. Folinic acid is leucovorin. If you are giving your child 1 to 2mg per kg of body weight of methylfolate you need to talk to your doctor ASAP [/quote]
