Seems the only place where women get pregnant after 44 naturally is the internet. 🛜
Lol. Sounds like a ‘you need to get out more’ problem to me. Ask your ob/gyn next time. Or your local Planned Parenthood.
I'm not that PP, but here's the thing: women who WANT to become pregnant at those ages are guaranteed heartbreak unless a miracle happens. It hasn't happened for me. Also, you're not understanding the difference every year makes in your 40s. The chances of a natural, viable, pregnancy in your early 40s is slim but still possible. In your late 40s, it's not happening unless you're doing donor eggs and IVF, and even then, the chances are very low. The story of someone's Grandma who had their last child at 48 before the days of IVF is the PROOF that it hardly ever happens. Because you can't cite anyone of that age whom you know personally, and who did this naturally without a younger egg and medical intervention. The medical statistics are well-nigh impossible for anyone who is 48 and wants their own biological child. Don't kid yourself.
You'd have to look at the abortion rate for this group too to get a fuller picture. My gynecologist has said she sees it not that infrequently. 48 year olds with kids in college get pregnant thinking they can't, but many (most?) Of those people will not want to continue a pregnancy even if biologically feasible.
