OP: That's a little strong considering I just figured this out. I also don't think he's "lost into weed" at this point - he's a basketball player and an A student. But I completely agree it's dangerous. Trying to figure out the best way to intervene, especially bc he doesn't know that I know.[/quote]

I smoked weed almost every day of 11th and 12th grade, and I went to Harvard.

I'm generally an anxious person, and I put a lot of pressure on myself.  I have always struggled with insomnia, and weed helped me to relax and enabled me to relax and sleep better at that time.  Frankly, I think it was healthier than the myriad of prescription drugs my friends were prescribed.

Do you know how much stronger liquid carts are?  Even edibles.  Do you know a lot of things are now chemically modified and and things like fentanyl added.  Do you know most kids now smoke before and during school, not after or at night to relax.  Wake up PP.  Not the same.  And this kid is much younger.  [/quote]
