Flights and daily life have not been affected, so it's good to be aware but I'm not sure it changes anything.[/quote] We just did this flight from Siem Reap to Bangkok a few weeks ago and it was fine. I'd be surprised if either country does anything to affect tourism. It's just too important to their economies. The flight was about 1.5 hours and pretty easy. The Siem Reap airport is about an hour from the temple, but is brand new and very modern. It was super easy to navigate. The Bangkok airport can be hard to get to with traffic, but is okay. Try to stay on a rail line instead of taking a taxi to avoid getting stuck in a massive traffic jam. We were glad we went to see Siem Reap. You've already come so far to get to SE Asia, that it's not a big hop to go see a spectacular site.[/quote]
