Wat Pho was really cool, there are amazing beaches, and it's some of the best food in the world. But I don't like traveling to huge cities and Bangkok is almost incomprehensibly huge, so I wish we'd spent more of our time in northern Thailand or checked out a couple of extra beaches instead of so much time in the city.
So one temple? Some beaches? Some food? Is that really it?!
You know you have access to Google, right? Feel free to do your own research or pay a travel agent. Bashing anons for not giving you enough free detailed info to plan a trip (and detailing ops thread) is lame.
Oh I’ve researched it plenty, and it seems like a horrible place. So I’m asking anyone who has been there to tel me what they enjoyed. And so far, it seems not much. If you have something to add, then by all means, please do!
So you are just here to crap on other people’s destinations? Go away
No, the opposite. I want to know what they enjoyed? So far we have one temple, beaches and food. Possibly touching or bathing an elephant, but not sure if they enjoyed that. Anything else?

My daughter loved the giant malls, and my son loved snorkeling.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I haven’t seen one thing mentioned in this entire thread that seems worth doing in Thailand. Is it really that bleak?

BTW, Thailand and Cambodia are fighting right now.
:-(
Yes I wouldn't take the land route to Siem Reap but I wouldn't recc that anyway. Flights and daily life have not been affected, so it's good to be aware but I'm not sure it changes anything.
