The 6-Day War was precipitated by Egypt, which mobilized on Israel's border, expelled U.N. peacekeepers, moved troops into the Sinai desert, and blockaded the port of Eilat. Jordan had been warned to stay out of the war, and lost the West Bank as a result. Egypt lost the Gaza Strip. To the victors go the spoils. Don't pick fights with your neighbors. Israel now owns the land it captured, it is Israeli land, Palestinians have no further claim to it, if they ever did. [/quote]
