You think the hospital is going to waive fees because it's the right thing to do? When would it possibly be the wrong thing to do?! And yet, it never happens; Americans go medically bankrupt all the time.

Nobody is bitter a baby was born. People are pointing out that the mother being kept alive merely as an incubator has ethical repercussions and a cost. Are you going to pay for that, party of jerks who want to refuse to pay for other classes of people to simply exist? If you're willing to pay to keep a brain-dead person alive, why not a fat person? a queer person? a poor person? This particular poor, motherless baby, who will likely need extensive medical care (and then, of course, an education, affordable housing, etc.)?
