Within engineering, students may specialize in civil/environmental, computer, electrical, or mechanical engineering, or develop a customized program by combining these fields with additional coursework in areas such as chemistry, biology, or computer science.

This is not the geekiest Engineering program. It's more suited for someone more interested in interdisciplinary exploration (Engineering with other STEM or non-STEM areas). Swat is a school reputed for it's rigorous academic standards and I don't see any issues in job prospects. Also the prospects for admission into elite grad programs is high.
