But "As of the writing of this article[June 8], MBLI is still waiting on approval for whatever upgrades need to be made to the fire alarm system and electrical wiring." The article goes on to discuss that MBLI may be looking at temporary back-up facilities, but that may require a very long bus ride and it's unclear how that will be provided.

So, still a lot of uncertainty as to what is actually happening.

My prediction is that they won't be ready to open on time and families will default back to their home schools in August. But then that may cause class size/staffing issues if the potential MBLI students were concentrated at a few schools in the Germantown/ Gaithersburg area.
