Since MLBI makes the hiring decisions, but MCPS has to actually process the hiring, for observers it’s unclear what is happening. Maybe they are waiting to hire a principal before hiring teachers. Maybe they are hiring people from outside MCPS and it is taking a while to process. Maybe no one has applied. Maybe no one understands this process and it’s just a mess. Who knows?
