Serious question...where is the mismanagement? With the exception of the Department of Defense, every other agency has audits and inspector generals and reports to congress that pass with flying colors. The Pentagon has not had a clean audit in years. If there is fraud and waste anywhere, it is there, and yet, DOGE doesn't touch the Pentagon and the GOP adds to their budget while cutting everywhere else.

Do you understand that there has been a reduction in the federal workforce steadily since Reagan was in office? Jobs and responsibilities that used to be in house are now outsourced to consulting firms at 5-10x the cost to the tax payer, with the partners of those firms making the difference (and then contributing to the GOP to keep the gravy train going)

DOGE has literally not found any fraud or abuse. Waste is in the eyes of the beholder.

You want to cut entitlement programs? Ok, so you are kicking poor old people on to the streets, or turning loose more mentally ill people to be homeless and muttering to themselves? Or cutting off healthcare to poor babies? Like what cuts do you want to make? There aren't "welfare queens" of healthy ble people getting rich on "entitlement programs" - that was a myth of the Reagan era (https://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/history/2013/12/linda_taylor_welfare_queen_ronald_reagan_made_her_a_notorious_american_villain.html) and certainly doesn't exist today after the reforms when Bill Clinton was president.
