Speaking from experience (kid was sought out for top team, but someone forgot to hit a button so no formal offer extended). We didn’t realize there was a mistake until they followed up to see what we were thinking. And fwiw, in other instances, we’ve gotten a “thanks for trying out but no thanks” email.[/quote]
