What league does Sterling Soccer travel play in? I never heard of them.
NCSL and EDP
Their website just says NCSL. I also noticed they announced a partnership with West Virginia soccer. Does that mean Sterling's fields will be used for some WV soccer programming? They tout WV soccer as being "only" 30 miles away. That sounds pretty far to me. I can't imagine how a partnership will actually work.
I have a kid who plays for Sterling. I’m not sure why their website is wrong but they do have a couple teams that play for EDP, like their top 2012 boys team. The WV partnership to me is BS. They’re losing out on good talent because there’s no pathway, and this was their answer I guess? All I’ve seen is that we’re invited to the WV MLS ID sessions, but that club is FAR. Especially during rush hour.
Agree with you 100%!!! With all the clubs around Sterling, they're expecting people to drive to West VA to play for them? With Loudoun East coming in, refusing or not joining in with Loudoun East is a huge mistake
