Sterling soccer has use of most of the fields. Someone tried to start a rec program in Sterling and their NCSL teenaged teams home games were playing on an elementary school open field with popup goals.

I have a kid who plays for Sterling. I’m not sure why their website is wrong but they do have a couple teams that play for EDP, like their top 2012 boys team.

The WV partnership to me is BS. They’re losing out on good talent because there’s no pathway, and this was their answer I guess? All I’ve seen is that we’re invited to the WV MLS ID sessions, but that club is FAR. Especially during rush hour.

Agree with you 100%!!! With all the clubs around Sterling, they're expecting people to drive to West VA to play for them? With Loudoun East coming in, refusing or not joining in with Loudoun East is a huge mistake

They didn’t get much turnout, I’m not sure how many teams they will actually field.

Sterling soccer and great falls Reston are holding tryouts this week, both are better options.

Nah lol. VRSC exists because the Ponzi scheme known as Barca Virginia ran its course. That’s the reality of the club soccer world—these organizations aren’t built to “do right by the kids.” They’re designed to make money, and they should be. But let’s not mask it as anything else.

Most of these clubs are just investments—either by parents who want to control the environment or by people who think they’ve figured out how to print money in youth soccer. VRSC’s main goal isn’t player development—it’s renting out that facility, whether through their own club or whatever MLS partnership they’ve lined up.

And the coaching? The same recycled names with fake resumes, guys who couldn’t hack it abroad but sell parents on the illusion of “elite training.”

Dang if I hadn’t seen the name Rado I’d swear you were describing Niko and the reason a “club” like VRSC exists. Because he didn’t like Loudoun so he allegedly set to do right by the kids when in reality it was all about doing right by his bank account. Youth soccer in America, folks!
