ICE has had their ability to enforce immigration laws restored to previous levels, which were/are required to perform those task(s) for which they were created. ICE is a combination of civil and criminal authorities to protect national security and strengthen public safety. ICE is federal law enforcement agency. 
 If not "literally off the streets", where would you prefer that those in violation of the law be apprehended?

Please, feel free to list the kidnappings by some random civilian wearing an "ICE vest".  Your argument is beyond ridiculous.

People are not being arrested for protesting...they are being arrested for breaking the law. If charged/prosecuted, they must be proven guilty in a court of law.

Apparently, you didn't get the memo that the "colluding with with Russia" was a fabricated act of treason...funded by Hillary Clinton, & implemented by the Obama/Biden administration, the DOJ/FBI & their holdovers.
 The classified docs case includes a special counsel/prosecutor unlawfully appointed, staged photos by the FBI, amongst other unethical practices.
