[/quote] Yes, including 1 of the 4 students I mentioned! Keep in mind, last summer was also quite competitive given that the program was fully funded for all. This year there is only need-based FA available, so more students may decline their acceptances. Your DC definitely has a shot, albeit of course they should also pursue other options. Either way, they can still apply ED1 or 2 to UChicago in the fall. Happy to try to answer any additional questions you may have - my kid’s cohort did extremely well in college admissions overall.
