Expensive iphones will be more painful for us than for Republicans.  Republicans will just buy phones from Musk, Bezos, and Zuckerberg.  But for many of us it’s…iphone or look poor. you are dumb to do that.  It's like keeping up with the joneses except it's to avoid looking like "the poors". I guess if you have money to throw away....

Electronic items like smart phones are not designed to last more than 3 years; 5 at best.  I used to keep my phone until the OS stopped updating. But, now a days, there's so much stuff in the software that the system starts slowing down after 3 years.
