She always responds that I don't need to let her know. But we both know that if something came up and I hadn't let her know, it wouldn't look good for either of us. I'd be dinged for not responding and she'd be dinged for not knowing I was unavailable.[/quote] Not scheduling leave will be terrible, you can be fired for that. But also just taking too much leave, employers do get upside. They have fired cancer payments for taking too much time. [/quote]
